Only hard times reveal true friends who will stick by your side no matter what.

Everybody has their breaking point

Sometimes you look at a person and you can literally see how she’s fighting and trying to keep her head up and the tears back. Then all of a sudden, the person breaks. What she held inside for way too long has to escape of her body. And it does. My god how it does. I think it’s horrible to watch that happen to someone. It’s not just about being a little sad or something. It’s giving up from the deepest of your heart when you want nothing more than staying strong. But you can’t. You just can’t. It’s like a breaking wall. You don’t have the power anymore to pretend to be something you are not, like happy or strong. But you know what? It’s okay. You’re a human being, with a big heart. You’re allowed to break from time to time and let it all out. But remember: You’re allowed to cry as much and as long as you want to. But once you’re done, never cry for the same reason again. It might take a day, it might take a year, but I promise you, it will stop hurting someday. Believe me and also believe in you and your strength. You have everything it takes to become happy inside yourself.

Nothing lasts forever

You have to remember one thing. Nothing lasts forever. That is both positive and negative. You won’t always be on top of life, but life cannot be shit forever. Everything is temporary. What’s bothering you now won’t matter anymore in a year, maybe not even next month, week, or tomorrow. So stop worrying. Don’t waste your time overthinking. It will only unnecessarily destroy your happiness.

The notebook – quote

“I’m nothing special, of this I am sure. I’m a common man with common thoughts and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.”

– Noah in The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

Let’s start a whole new chapter

Hi guys.

I had to go through some tough situations lately so I decided to start a blog.

Reading the stories other people shared with the world helped me to handle all the stuff life was throwing at me.

The aim of this blog is not only for me to share my mind, I also hope that I can help other people who have some challenges to face right now.

I’d like to write about my thoughts, but I also adore poems and quotes so you’ll find a mixture from both.

Stay strong and take your time reading through my blog.
